The Beer Dabbler is a keen supporter of the craft beer community in Minnesota, exploring new ventures in the realms of food, beverages, events and media.
Grey Duck Media sought out 3five to produce a newly designed, responsive website capable of organizing and handling its products and events. Struggling with high bounce rates and low engagement rates, Grey Duck Media needed a site which would increase engagements and conversions, keeping people on The Beer Dabbler site and interacting with the content.
Our aim of this project was to create an outstanding user experience where the website was easy to navigate coupled with clean, clear, concise information. Our team of design and development experts created a custom design for The Beer Dabbler using a symmetry theme. This allowed The Beer Dabbler to showcase their products such as their glassware selection and exclusive merchandise. We were able to couple the eye catching imagery with simple content, this encourages the user to click through the site to find more information, the content is simply a prompt to delve further into the site.
The previous online store being run through The Beer Dabbler was causing some stress in terms of the customer shopping experiences. We were able to alleviate the pain points by organizing products and events into a more usable structure. The new structure was designed to be straightforward for users to find apparel, glassware and accessories with ease. A robust filtering system for products in the online store was implemented allowing users to filter their search to find specific items in the inventory. A simplified user experience was created allowing users to interact with all areas of the site easily.
With mobile interactions becoming increasingly popular, the redesign for The Beer Dabbler was implemented with responsive web design at the forefront. Users accessing the website from any device will see the webpage fit to suit their screen size.
